This is a fun fundraising opportunity for swimmers, just in time for Mother's Day! Swimmers collect donations, and on May 10 from 3-6pm, they swim as many lengths as they can in 2 hours (200 lengths maximum). *Please bring a parent, guardian, sibling or friend to count the number of laps completed*. After the event, from 6-7pm in Room A, there will be photos with mom, refreshments, and snacks. Please stop by the Riptides office to pick up a pledge form. This is an excellent way to meet your fundraising goal, and best of all, 100% of the profits go to the Nanaimo Riptides Swim Team!
**Please note that there will be no Riptides swim lessons run on this day as we encourage all swimmers in Green to National to sign up for this important fundraiser.
**High School swimmers will be attending the Miles for Mom event starting at 3pm and Elementary school swimmers will start at 4pm.**
Swimmers have until the end of May to collect and submit their pledge money to the Riptides office. Prizes will be awarded to the swimmer in each group (Green - National) that raises the most amount.
