Coaching Opportunity

The Nanaimo Riptides are looking for on call swim coaches  2022/2023 swim season! We are looking for fun and engaging coaches that are flexible with hours to cover our staff. We have coaching opportunities Monday to Friday, 3:30 to 6:30 and we can work with you to build your schedule! The club will also financially support you in getting your NCCP Community Sport Coach certification. 

Our Olympic Way program is an introduction to competitive swimming. We focus highly on fundamentals like body position, breathing and kick while maintaining the fun and exciting environment to captivate young swimmers. There will be a supportive plan to guide you as well as a team of coaches to help wherever you need. 

Starting on September 26, we run three 12 week sessions and could use your help! Our Olympic Way coaches will have an hourly rate of $20. If this is something you are interested in, or would like to know more, please email Sidney (sidney@nanaimoriptides.com) or Scott (sflood@nanaimoriptides.com)
