Fundraising Events for the 2020/21 Swim Season
Bottle Drive
Our first bottle drive fundraiser of the season was held on Saturday, September 12th, 2020. Together we raised $2,936!! All swimmers that participated earned $104.85 towards their fundraiser commitment.
**Swimmers are welcome to drop off their empties at the bottle depot at Hayes Road and add the $ earned to the Riptides account throughout the season to be put towards your fundraiser commitment. Please contact our Office Manager, admin@nanaimoriptides, with the amount given.
Hot Dog Sale - cancelled
Our popular Hot Dog Sale fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at Country Grocer.
Global Coffee & Hot Chocolate Fundraiser
Thank you to all that participated in our Global Coffee & Hot Chocolate Fundraiser. Together we sold 315 bags and raised $1,575!!!
Purdy's Chocolate Fundraiser
Thank you to all that participated in our Purdy's chocolate fundraiser. Together we puchased $4,198.95 worth of chocolate goodies and raised $1,137.41!!

The Nanaimo Riptides are excited to announce that we are hosting our 2nd Bottle Drive of the season on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at the Hayes Road Return-It Bottle Depot.
Save your empties! This is an great opportunity for swimmers in groups Los Angeles-1984 to Tokyo-2020 to work towards their fundraising commitment. For reference, the total amount raised in this fundraiser will be divided up equally among the swimmers that participate, towards their fundraiser commitment.
